Christy
Christy Graham joined the Hutto Vet Clinic in early 2010 as a receptionist and vet assistant.

Before joining the clinic, she trained dogs for four years at PetCo in Round Rock and Pflugerville.
She worked with puppies and older dogs, teaching them basic skills, in addition to tricks. She even organized a pet fashion show at one point. Toward the end of her tenure, Christy began teaching new employees how to train canine clients

She started her animal career when she was 12 years old. She worked as a dog groomer at the Snooty Poodle, a bright pink dog salon in her hometown of Lake Jackson.

Christy and her husband, Michael, live in Pflugerville where they own a lighting/production company. They live with their dogs, Oona, a boxer/Catahoula mix; Stewie, a shaggy border collie; one lizard, Hoggle; and 3 fish tanks.

Jade
Jade Daenzer, a native of Taylor, joined the Hutto Vet Clinic in 2008 and is a trusted and valued employee, very experienced in a variety of pet care and management procedures.

Prior to coming to the Hutto clinic, she worked for three years at a long-time,
small-animal practice in Georgetown where she became skilled at a number of techniques. She also spent about two years at a dog-training and boarding facility in the area.

Jade is the mother of daughter, Alyssa, who started first-grade in Taylor in September 2009. They live in Taylor with their Hurricane Katrina rescue dog, Princess, and a Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter rescue dog, Wylder, in addition to a three-legged cat named Emmae.

Linda

The Hutto Veterinary Clinic became a true mom-and-pop organization in 2007 when Linda joined her husband, Dr. Holmstrom, in managing the business.

As the office/business manager, Linda makes sure the clinic is running smoothly, doing everything from paying the bills and balancing the books to ordering staff birthday cakes and occasionally cleaning up after the dogs and cats.

Linda worked for about 20 years in the newspaper business, as a reporter covering politics, education, crime and everything Williamson County for the Austin American-Statesman, then as editor of the Williamson County Sun newspaper in Georgetown. She still writes for the Statesman’s marketing department.

While Linda appreciates the difficulties and challenges of running a small business, she enjoys putting her organization and people skills to work visiting with clients and their pets.

Misty

Misty is somewhat new to the veterinary field, having worked as a receptionist and vet tech-in-training for several months at another vet clinic in the area. After only a few months at the Hutto clinic, she already has mastered dental cleanings and other routine tasks; she remains calm under pressure and realizes that customer service is a high priority.

She brings to the Hutto Veterinary Clinic more than 10 years experience in the accounting and administrative fields and is a native of Shamrock in the Panhandle. Misty and her husband live in Thrall with their three children and three pets: Nipper, a 10-year-old dashhound; Blue, 6, an American pitbull, and Patches, a nine-year-old calico cat.

Misty is excited to be at the Hutto Veterinary Clinic because “I’ve always loved animals and I thought this was a great opportunity.”

“I like knowing that we’re providing care and medical treatment for animals in need,” she said.
